There are 12 houses in astrology. We can learn about our influences at birth by looking at which house Chiron was in.
Each house defines an area of your life.
Since we’ve learned a bit about Chiron and what he represents (The Wounded Healer), we can look at which house he arrived in at your birth and get a good understanding of the area of your life that may contain your core wound.
This is the area that will come up for review at mid-life and your Chiron Return.
What have you done during the first half of your life to acknowledge and address this area of wounding?
What continues to be a block, issue or area of aggravation? What’s up for review?
It’s nothing personal, just Chiron pointing out where healing is still to be done.

Chiron in the third house.
Mind your thoughts.
The third house rules the mind. Or maybe the mind rules the third house.
This is the house of communication, learning and information.
In numerology, the number 3 is associated with creativity. This is also the case with the third house. Creativity may abound here, however, it can also feel scattered or chaotic.
How clear is your communication? What are your preferred forms of communication? Have you been struggling to write when what you really want to do is sing? Do you find texting tedious and would rather call? Are you a wizard with emails but Zoom remains a chore?
Do you wait for a thought to form clearly before you communicate it to others?
Education and knowledge live here. Is there something you need to learn in order to keep up with the times? Is it time to book an appointment with the Apple Store and take a class on how to manage your iphotos or organize your emails?
Maybe you want to learn another language so you can travel and meet new people.
Or simply accept this year’s invitation to the neighbourhood block party and get to know the folks in your community.
Sesame Street had a song for everything, including the third house: Who are the people in your neighbourhood?
Curiosity is the food of creativity and learning.
What are you curious about? If the answer is nothing, it’s time to learn how to be curious again. Curious about the world around you. See it through fresh eyes each day. Connect to your surroundings.
If your Chiron Return happens to be in the third house, you may find yourself involved in writing, marketing, public relations or communication projects.
You may also be swimming through childhood memories (particularly school memories) and dealing with siblings or planning short trips.
Three is a fascinating number. There’s much to explore in this house. With Chiron by your side, get curious about all that you can learn about and heal in these areas of your life.
Figure out how you best communicate with Chiron and ask for his support. I hear he prefers interpretive dance over spreadsheets. Or maybe that’s just me.
Much love,
Stephanie
