The pears and warming spices make this overnight oat recipe perfect for fall!
- fill jar 1/4 – 1/3 with oats
- add 1-2 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- a handful of cashews and a sprinkle of hemp hearts (optional)
- diced pears (tossed in the juice of 1/2 lemon to prevent browning)
- 1-2 tsp honey
- fill with strong chai
I added just-steeped chai (excellent if you don’t want to wait overnight to enjoy your oats).
You can also add room temp or chilled chai that you’ve made ahead.
If you don’t have chai on hand, add 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp ginger and 1/8 tsp cloves to your jar and fill with water (hot or cold).
Tighten the lid. Shake well. Chill in the fridge overnight or let sit for 20-30 minutes and enjoy warm.
