What does Chiron in the first house mean?

There are 12 houses in astrology. We can learn about our influences at birth by looking at which house Chiron was in.

Each house defines an area of your life.

Since we’ve learned a bit about Chiron and what he represents (The Wounded Healer), we can look at which house he arrived in at your birth and get a good understanding of the area of your life that may contain your core wound.

This is the area that will come up for review at mid-life and your Chiron Return.

What have you done during the first half of your life to acknowledge and address this area of wounding?

What continues to be a block, issue or area of aggravation? What’s up for review?

It’s nothing personal, just Chiron pointing out where healing is still to be done.

The first house.

This is the area of you. Your self, your identity and physical appearance.

What is your sense of self?

This is the house of beginnings. And it begins with you.

Is there a difference between how you project yourself to the world and who you really are?

How do you perceive the world and yourself?

What shape is your physical body in? What is your reality?

Identity and ego reside in this house.

What is your focus? How is your focus? Do you laser in on something until you burn a hole in it? Or are you too wishy-washy to focus on anything?

The word that comes up here for me is: Alignment.

Is your inner world in alignment with your outer world? Inner self in alignment with outer projection?

Remember, this is the house of beginnings. So, if Chiron is returning here for you in mid-life, you have the opportunity to begin again. Begin your exploration of self and focus on what you want for your life.

I’m not going to tell you who you are. I will only offer the questions above for you to contemplate or journal. If Chiron is in your first house, the last thing you need is me telling you who you are.

You get to figure that out for yourself.
