What does Chiron Return in Taurus mean?

There are 12 signs in astrology. We can learn about our influences at birth by looking at which sign Chiron was in.

Each sign defines an area of your life.

Since we’ve learned a bit about Chiron and what he represents (The Wounded Healer), we can look at which sign he arrived in at your birth and get a good understanding of the area of your life that may contain your core wound.

This is the area that will come up for review at mid-life and your Chiron Return.

What have you done during the first half of your life to acknowledge and address this area of wounding?

What continues to be a block, issue or area of aggravation? What’s up for review?

It’s nothing personal, just Chiron pointing out where healing is still to be done.

Chiron in Taurus.

Taurus is an earthy, grounded sign.

They like home, comfort, stability and material things. They like to create cozy spaces and have things just right. This is where they often feel most comfortable.

Since Chiron is the wounded healer, issues that may come up at midlife will be around the home, stability, getting things the way you like them or letting go of an obsessive need to create the perfect environment (because it will never happen). You may be going through old photos or family tree at this time.

Taurus is also a sign of deep emotions. Care-taking of others is strong here. Taurus can also represent security and the physical body. During Chiron Return, there may need to be a bit of “languishing in anguish” before the breakthrough comes. Sit with what you need to sit with.

Take a page from Ferdinand the Bull, and accept those around you for who they are. This includes accepting yourself.

Other issues that could crop up at Chiron Return in Taurus is healing any wounding around stability and family.

If I was to compare Taurus to a chakra, it would be root… think issues of: I Am Safe, I AM Supported, All my Needs are Met. Physical safety, material safety.

Lack of motivation could occur at this mid point. A good routine and a bit of movement will be of benefit at midlife.

Understanding your worth from a spiritual perspective will heal wounds of material grasping or lack. What is truly of value to you?

One of the things I see as a possibility is getting all the parts checked out: all the midlife doctor appointments. Tending the physical body and giving it whatever treatments or checkups it needs at this time. Feeling safe in your body.

Often, improving safety in the mind (mindfulness) can improve a sense of safety in the body.

Alright, my Chiron in Taurus friend, go forth and shop. Perhaps a book on Hygge, the Danish art of creating a sense of cozy in the home.

Much love,

Stephanie
