Like many others, I turned to alternative therapies during injury. It wasn’t until I needed to heal my body that I considered the healing arts.

Now I know that “complementary alternative modalities” aren’t alternative at all. They are natural and necessary for everyday health and well-being. They are rooted in tradition and steeped in nature. They are bound with breath and preserved across time. They are the cairns that show the way home.
